You have already built a good foundation in Russian — around 40–60%. You know how to introduce yourself, ask and answer everyday questions, and use important grammar patterns. Great job!
Why you should be proud: you can already understand and produce simple sentences. You are able to use Russian in real communication, and that means you are ready to go further.
What comes next: I recommend that you expand your vocabulary (family, work, hobbies, food, shopping) and practice verbs in the present, past, and future tenses. You can also start reading short texts and listening to simple dialogues — try short podcasts for learners. This will boost your confidence, help your ear get used to Russian speech, and make your grammar more natural so that you can speak more fluently.
Moreover, at the end of September I am opening online group classes that are just perfect for your level! I am a certified teacher who builds not just study groups but real learning teams, where students support each other and often become friends during the journey of learning Russian. Here are details:
🔹 2 times a week
🔹 70–80 minutes per lesson / 15$ per lesson
🔹 Monday and Wednesday, 16:00–17:20 Moscow time / 9:00–10:20 AM New York time
🔹 Small group: 3–6 students
If you are interested, do not hesitate to book a consultation with me. I am waiting just for you!
P.S. If you’d like to join but the time doesn’t work for you, write to me anyway — I plan to open other groups too!
